Good box, some small issues

I ordered the Deluxe Dog Pack for my golden retriever in April. The ordering process online was straightforward, pretty typical for a subscription. It shipped about a week after I placed the order, then took 6 days to reach me in California, which was okay but not super fast. The box itself had a good mix of toys and treats. The plush toys were decent quality, held up to some chewing, and the grain-free dog treats were a hit with my dog. I did notice one of the chew toys seemed a bit small for a large dog, even though I'd specified his size. Customer support was quick to respond when I asked about changing my dog's profile for future boxes, so that was a plus. Overall, a solid service but maybe check toy sizes if you have a bigger dog.

My cat loves it

Got the Cat Pack last month for my kitten and she went crazy for everything! The interactive pet toy is her new favorite thing, she plays with it constantly. Treats were gone in a day. Definitely getting this again, going to recommend it to my sister for her cats!

Decent value, quick shipping

I tried out the Monthly Dog Treats subscription for my beagle. The website was easy to navigate and placing the order was quick. Shipping was surprisingly fast, arrived in 4 days. The treats were good quality, my dog really enjoyed them. I will say, the packaging wasn't super exciting, just a basic box, but for the price, the product inside was what mattered. It's a convenient way to get new treats without having to go to the store.

Can I skip a month if I'm going on vacation or something?

A Alex 1 month ago
Yup, you can definitely skip months. Just log into your account and there should be an option.

Yeah, it's super easy to skip. I've done it a few times when I had too many treats built up.

My dog has a chicken allergy. Do they let you specify dietary restrictions for the treats?

S Shane Y. 1 month ago
I've heard they do accommodate allergies. You should be able to update your pet's profile for that.

Yeah, I'd email their support or check your account settings. I remember seeing something about allergy options.

Does anyone know if they ship to Alaska? Trying to figure out if it's even an option for my cat.

E Emma Lindqvist 1 month ago
Yeah, I'm pretty sure they ship everywhere in the US. My cousin in Hawaii gets it no problem.

Shipping is free within the US, so Alaska should be fine. Just make sure to double check at checkout.

Thinking of trying this, but wondering if it's much different than BarkBox. Anyone tried both?

J Jared Osei 1 month ago
I've had both! Pet Treater feels a little more random sometimes, but still good value. BarkBox often has a stronger theme.

Pet Treater is usually cheaper than BarkBox, especially for the first box. Quality is comparable though, IMO.

Hey guys, thinking about getting the dog box for my golden. He's a pretty big chewer. Will the toys hold up or are they mostly plushy stuff?

T Todd H. 1 month ago
Mine came with a mix of things, some plush and some tougher chew toys. It's usually a good variety.

They have a 'Deluxe Dog Pack' that's supposed to be better for strong chewers, I think. Might be worth checking out if you're worried.

How long does it usually take for the first box to show up after you sign up? Need to know if I'll get it before my puppy's birthday next month.

N Nick Kim 1 month ago
Boxes usually ship out around the middle of the month. So if you sign up now, you should get the next month's box.

It depends on when you subscribe. They usually process and ship all the boxes around the same time each month.

I saw an ad for 50% off the first box. Can I also use a free toy code on top of that?

T Troy 1 month ago
Nah, pretty sure you can only use one coupon at a time. It says that on their site somewhere.

R Ryan Silva 1 month ago
Nope, just one code per order. You gotta pick which deal you want more.
